DN 7.8 safety coupling according to ISO 4414, DIN EN 983 for compressed air, with a two-step venting process. By pushing the sleeve slightly back the first locking will be released. The coupling interlocks, at the same time the plug will be pushed to the second position and the present pressure within the plug will be exhausted. By pushing the sleeve back any further, the plug will be fully released and can be safely decoupled. The sliding sleeve is easily operable one-handed up to 116 psi. Nickel-plated brass. Due to safety and wearout reasons it is recommended to soley use plugs made of steel and not of brass. Notice: a direct connection to percussive tools like impact wrenches is not recommended.
