Hose burst valve Hose Guard is an effective hose and pipe rupture valve for compressed air systems. Designed for the required standard amounts of air for pneumatic tools. During a hose or pipe rupture, Hose Guard immediately stops the flow except of a marginal amount of residual flow. The affected segment or the tube can be safely replaced, while undamaged parts of the compressed air network remain under full pressure. After the repair the segment will be slowly filled to working pressure levels by the residual flow. As soon as the working pressure level is achieved House Guard opens the line again for normal operation. Protection from damage caused by a bursting compressed air system or hose. Meets the EU standard EN 983 - § 5.3.4.3.2. Operation and adjusting secured. Can be installed into any compressed air system.
